International Forum of Health, beauty and 100 years life

From 2 to March 4, 2010 the first International Forum of Health, beauty and 100 years life «Healthy Nation» was held. The home of the Forum became the International Exhibition Center (Kyiv, Prospect Brovarsky, 15) which is the most modern exhibition center in Ukraine. The Forum had gained the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Kiev City State Administration, Kiev City Department of Health and medical care, the Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports.

Healthy Nation Ukraine Forum is: an absolutely new concept which combines the branches involved in health system; health care, active and intellectual way of life, bio nutrition, ecology and energy saving technologies. Forum is based on principles of European experience in how to approach the concept and the organization of such events.

During three days at the International Exhibition Center were shown the following guidelines:

"Line of Life", "Quality of Life" and "Tempo of Life", which were represented the following exhibitions: Medic Life (Medical equipment, supplies, drugs), Dent Life (Dentistry), New Life (Maternity. Transfusion medicine. Prevention. Rehabilitation), Aesthetic Life (Plastic Surgery. Cosmetology. SPA technology and equipment), Bio Life (Natural foods and beverages), Eco Life (Environment and Energy), Style Life (Modern Clinic. Insurance), Tour Life (Medical tourism. Education and Recreation), Active Life (Sports and activities).

Despite very difficult political and economic situation in the country, the emergence of such an event proved its necessity and urgency. The proofs were positive reviews said by top officials, participants and visitors of the forum. According to many experts, it is such an event they waited for years and pledged their heartfelt support of the exhibition in future.

Forum's success owes primarily strong scientific program. All events that have occurred caused genuine interest from leading specialists of medical field.

First of all, we want to highlight the organization of the First Global Dental Congress, "Dent Life" Ukraine. This event, without exaggeration, was the event of the year, because lecturers of such level have not ever come to Ukraine and this fact noted by experts in the field of dentistry. The Congress discussed issues of current treatments and new technologies that have emerged in dentistry lately. Speakers of the Congress were recognized industry leaders from Austria, Serbia, Britain, USA and India. The level of organization and hospitality have impressed the guests and today we have reached an agreement to support the event by leading dental associations around the world and to hold a similar event in the fall.

Notable and productive activities were:

• Ukrainian congress of neonatologists and Conference "Healthy mother-healthy child", to which were invited more than 200 leading national experts in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and held with the direct participation of Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine;
• Research Seminar "states of emergency medicine and medicine of catastrophes;
• Roundtable "Implementation of quality laboratory diagnostics in Ukraine;
• The first national training program "School of anti-aging;

The events took place with the support and participation of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, National Academy of Postgraduate Medical Education named by PL Shupyk . Association of neonatologists of Ukraine, Association of neonatologists IPAH Ukraine, Association of Preventive and Anti-aging Medicine, Ukrainian Association of menopause, andropause and diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Company Landgut Ukraine held evolutional seminar on "Role of poultry products fortified with antioxidants, in a balanced nutrition".

Lecture by Peter Sura, world-renowned Professor of Biochemistry, Food from Scotland (who is professor of 7 universities in different countries and a foreign member of the Russian Agricultural Academy) was devoted to the role of poultry products fortified with antioxidants, in a balanced nutrition. The speaker showed that thanks to technology developed in the UK which has been tested in several countries, can get eggs and meat, which in fact can be attributed to functional food.

Rapporteur was particularly proud that a group of companies Landgut is the first company in Ukraine, which produces more than 1 million eggs daily and over 20 thousand tons of meat for the specified technology. Thus, eggs and meat are characterized not only by high taste, but also to balance the diet of man as in vitamin E and selenium on. Research on the analysis of the eggs of wild birds held in Scotland confirmed that this technology allows for eggs and meat like they invented by nature.

Thus, a new type of food have already found a way on the shelves of supermarkets of Ukraine. It will soon improve the balance of the population of Ukraine with the most important components of nutrition, including vitamin E and selenium, and thereby improve the health of the nation.

Very useful and productive was a seminar on "Modern methods of radiation diagnosis of cancer and its radio-surgery treatment" from the medical center “Cyber Clinic Spizhenko”, which is the only in Eastern Europe, an accredited representative among CyberKnife cancer centers at the World Association of Cyberknife Society. Yuri Prokopovich Spizhenko made a report on the unique features so common in Ukraine Cyber knife. Seminar attended by the country's leading oncologists and all those interested in cutting-edge technologies in this field.

Keen interest was in seminars on:

• "Supplies for X-ray endovascular surgery. Latest developments" from the “Center for Medical Technology” with the participation of leading experts from China and domestic heart surgeons and X-ray endovascular surgery.
• Specialized seminar on the theme - "Revolutionary non surgery method of fibroma uteri treatment, embolization of uteri arteries». held by medical center "Ludmila".

Landmark event was the "Organic Seminar for the nation's health, which held the Research Institute for Organic Agriculture, FiBL, Switzerland (www.fibl.org) and Company" Tree Expo "with the participation of major players in the organic movement in Ukraine. The seminar was attended by 144 participants from 15 regions of Ukraine. Many have called after the show and wrote - thanks for the event.

78 domestic and foreign companies took part in the Forum as exhibitors, including companies from Holland, Russia, Turkey, India, Taiwan, Hungary, among which I would like to highlight:

• Company SCA Hygiene Ukraine, international company which operates in 90 countries. In Ukraine, represented by units of the company: Personal Care / Personal Hygiene (products for incontinence care at TENA, children's nappies Libero, women's sanitary products Libresse);
• Company "Intero" - the leading national provider of laboratory diagnostics and analysis, which is the official representative in Ukraine, the famous German company «Leica Microsystems Inc»;
• One of the most famous Turkish clinical network Acibadem, which introduced the advanced features of effective treatment in Turkey and which has received international accreditation Joint Commission International (JCI), which currently have 102 clinics worldwide.
• Hungarian Debrecen Center for Medical Science University, which is a general partner of the Forum.

Much attention during the International Forum «Healthy Nation» topics was given to leisure and active life style. Along with the exhibits of 9 sports federations in the days of the Forum was the establishment of a demonstration area to display every sports federation - from martial arts to the extreme sports. The event was held in partnership with the Ukrainian Center for physical health "Sport for All" and aims at promoting the population of active sports and healthy lifestyle.

Since 2010 International Forum of Health, beauty and 100 years life «Healthy Nation» became an annual event of such a level in Ukraine and provided additional opportunity for communication and exchange of experiences between national and foreign specialists, the introduction of new technologies and address the pressing issues of several national programs on health and healthy lifestyles.

The main result of Healthy Nation 2010 Forum was that most companies with even greater optimism began to look at the market of Ukraine and objectively evaluate their positions in the fields of health, organic foods and active lifestyle. As director of the Ukrainian Center for physical health "Sport for All" Peter M. Martin noted, participation in the forum «Healthy Nation 2010" even in a crisis for them proved useful event and a good start for further steps in the noble cause of improving the health of Ukrainian nation. "It is gratifying that the exhibition had many visitors who noted with interest the need and timeliness of such an event. Summing up, we see great prospects for the forum, its benefits for the state and people and we support its further development and prosperity "- he said.
